"Both of our children studied under Mr. Krakovski and we give him the highest of recommendations! It goes without saying that he is a most excellent musician. But what makes his studio stand out above all the rest is his way of elevating a young musician’s capability above and beyond. Our children loved studying with Mr. Krakovski. It was just plain fun!
Because of Mr. Krakovski, our family has been blessed with many musical opportunities outside the normal school experience. He motivated and challenged our kids to a higher standard which enabled them to participate in elite musical ensembles in the city of Atlanta, in the state of Georgia, the nation, and then at the university level.
Our family will always be grateful to Mr. Krakovski for these experiences. He is simply the best!"
"I was the prototypical “band kid” in high school. I did marching band, concert band, and jazz band all throughout. I got involved early on with lessons from Mr Krakovski and the results paid dividends. In music, I was in the wind ensemble at Milton High School by my sophomore year and was actively competing in Milton’s top jazz ensembles throughout high school. I became the saxophone section leader in the marching band by my sophomore year, and later was the band president by my senior year. I attribute this success to the many hours I spent drilling the basics and fundamentals of saxophone with Alexander Krakovski in his home studio. I learned technique, tonality, and how to turn notes on a page into music (and I wasn’t half bad by the end). However, Mr Krakovski was never truly convinced I could count to 4! Despite what I learned musically, I learned a sense of discipline, and appreciation for the arts which has influenced my career now tremendously. I cannot recommend this man enough. He is a remarkable musician and teacher, but he is also a wonderful friend, mentor, and person."
"Mr. Krakovski was an excellent teacher. When I started taking private lessons from him I was making district honor band and Allstate. He prepared me well for auditions and chair placements. He also made me love clarinet even more!"
"Mr. Krakovski is a true legend. He is a remarkable musician and has a way of teaching and understanding musicality that I think is very difficult to do. The Milton HS clarinet section was always top notch because we all took lessons with Mr. Krakovski, who was just around the corner from the high school. I continue to love playing clarinet to this day because of him. Mr. Krakovski- he good guy!"
